Another early day, up and out for breakfast at 7.30 to be at Animal Kingdom by 9am. As soon as we arrived at the gates the kids are asking can we go on some rides, thinking of all the rides yesterday. Animal Kingdom does have a few but most of the attractions are educational such as the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail and the Kiliminjaro Safari. The safari vehicle takes you on an expedition through an African savanah where giraffes, gazelles, elephants, rhinos and lions roam freely.
Saw the Festival of the Lion King which consisted of a 30 min musical which was excellent.
Some of the rides we did go on where the Kali River Rapids in which we all got drenched and Kieran thought it very funny that I got the wettest, soaked actually. Then it was onto Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, the Number 1 ride of all Disney World at the moment. Only Sinead , Conor and myself dared to try this one. Watched the parade at 4pm, every park has a character parade at the same time daily and then went to dinner in an African themed restaurant called Tusker House that was located in the park.
After dinner we came back to the hotel to change and then headed of to Downtown Disney to check it out. If there is a Disney product it is available here, the area also hosts Circus de Solei, Virgin Megastore and a Disney Interactive Game place( have not checked this out yet). The area could be 3-4 times the size of Darling Harbour!! Did not get back to the hotel until about 10pm and everyone was exhausted. Up for an early morning drive to the Kennedy Space Centre for the launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis, everyone is very excited.

You are not missing out on much here, been raining/thunderstorms all week and forecast for more. The plants are loving it though, Janelle.
