Disney World

Flight from LA
Our 2nd plane trip with the kids was a lot easier than our 1st. This trip only took 41/2 hours. The security that they have in the USA for interstate flying is just as big as if you were going on an overseas trip. Don’t expect to get dropped off at an airport here and walk through the doors and leisurely stroll through the terminal. As soon as you walk through the glass paneled door security is there and it takes you about three sections to get through before you actually enter your terminal departure gate. Arriving though at Disney All Star Music Resort within Disney World made you forget straight away about the 20 million questions asked at the airport. The kids (and also me) were so excited about finally getting off the bus and actually being here. As there was a 3 hour time difference from LA to Florida we didn’t really do that much in the evening. A good night sleep was needed as Magic Kingdom was booked first thing on Tuesday. Did we mention the jet lag that we are having (no really it’s only me but I then wake Mick up and he then wakes the kids up). Enough to watch a movie! It seems that between 11.00pm and 2.00am my mind is in Sydney time. NEWS FLASH Mick forgot to mention that when we arrived in LA he saw one of his old school buddies David.W. (famous Aussie actor with red hair) in the distance at immigration- unable to chat. Coincidence as we run into each other at Sea World a couple of years back, able to chat then though.
