Snowboarding – Bungy Trampoline
The kids have been bugging us to let them have a go at Snowboarding. So as an extra treat, they got their wish and had a 2 hour lesson for Snowboarding. Whilst we were waiting for their lesson, we bought them tickets for bungy trampoline. Sinead and Conor were first as their lesson was after lunch. Kieran was busy doing double black diamond slope(Headwalls) with Selena. I have attached a few video recordings that we managed to do on the camera but I’m not sure if they will work or not. So after lunch, Kieran had his go on the bungy trampoline. Sinead and Conor found that snowboarding is not as easy as skiing. A two hour lesson was quite enduring for both of them as they said it was fun but prefer skiing than snowboarding. I personally don’t like the snowboarders on the slopes as they generally are the ones that cut you off and don’t seem to care if they make you fall over in the process. As you can imagine it’s all about the snowboard, what gear you are wearing and who can go down the mountain the fastest. I have even had a few snowboarders tell me to MOVE OUT OF THE WAY! Honestly I don’t know what their problem is – I’m a beginner after all and have to take up the whole mountain so that I can ski from side to side to make sure I get to the end (HA, HA, HA,). I have learnt a new song doing my moves down the slope – BIG PIZZA, FRENCH FRIES, BIG PIZZA, FRENCH FRIES. If you have skied before, you will understand what I’m saying here. Also I learnt a new saying over the last couple of weeks because I have been introduced to poles – DRIVEN THE BUS. So my songs goes – BIG PIZZA, FRENCH FRIES, DRIVEN THE BUS – BIG PIZZA, FRENCH FRIES, DRIVEN THE BUS. Maybe I could use it as a jingle for advertising something!
